The HLD Group are pleased to have completed the purchase of Heartbeat UK Ltd (‘Heartbeat’). Heartbeat based in Redditch just outside Birmingham, operates out of two sites of over 100,000 sq ft, manufacturing and installing individually designed display units for customers such as M&S, Whitbread, Tesco and B&M bargains. The HLD team saw the business as a complementary fit to the HLD businesses that operate within the steel manufacturing sector of the group, sharing common customers and using similar products.
Ross Kendall, the managing director of Heartbeat UK said “Heartbeat fit all the criteria that HLD look for in their investments. An ambitious manufacturing business, focussed on growth, with a strong incumbent management team able to operate autonomously and deliver shareholder value” he continued: “Our ambition is to continue delivering value and excellent customer service to our existing clients whilst bringing new customers on board and designing products fit for the post covid landscape that our favoured clients are now looking to negotiate. The HLD acquisition offers us the investment and support to help us deliver the growth plans we have outlined for the next few years”
